While not exhaustive, the list is sufficient to give an overview of the kinds of conditions that respond to acupuncture, and the probability of individuals to respond. As with any subject of clinical trials, success rates will vary between studies. With acupuncture, this can be partly explained by the diversity of study designs, the number and type of treatments, and also the skill of the practitioners. While not a panacea for every one or every thing, you will discover in these studies how effective acupuncture is for many people suffering from a broad range of complaints, and that this benefit comes with virtually no risk of side-effects.
